Business Academy Aarhus

Business Academy Aarhus (BAAA) is one of the largest business academies in Denmark. More than 3,100 students follow the academy’s full-time programmes, and approx. 1,300 students study in one of the Academy’s part-time programmes. The academy has 180 full-time members of staff and a number of part-time teachers from the business community.

Programmes are practice-oriented

Business Academy Aarhus offers different Academy Profession (AP) and Bachelor’s degree programmes (BA). All the programmes are practice-oriented higher education programmes. This means that we combine theory and practice, and that we teach the theories enabling you to solve practical problems.

Business Academy Aarhus offers 13 programmes taught in English:

Bachelor’s degree programmes (3½ years):

• Architectural Technology and Construction Management
• Financial Management and Services

Academy Profession degree programmes (2 years):

• Automation Engineering
• Automotive Technology
• Chemical and Biotechnical Science
• Computer Science
• Environmental Management
• IT Network and Electronics Technology
• Marketing Management
• Multimedia Design and Communication

Bachelor’s Top-up degree programmes (1½ years):

- for students who already have completed or incompleted two years education from an other school:

• International Sales and Marketing Management
• Software Development
• Web Development

Aarhus

Aarhus  is the second largest city in Denmark with a population of 300,000. The city is an attractive education centre with the largest concentration of students in Denmark in percentage terms compared to the number of inhabitants. Approx. 12 per cent of the inhabitants of Aarhus are students.

Dzīvošana
Aarhusā tiek piedāvāti speciāli studentiem paredzēti dzīvokļi, kas parasti ir lētāki. To īres maksa mēnesī ir no 130 – 280 LVL. Dzīvokļi atrodas dažādos pilsētas rajonos, laicīgi piesakoties var izvēlēties kurā rajonā Tu vēlies dzīvot, lai aiztaupītu papildus izdevumus par sabiedrisko transportu.

Pieteikties rindā uz dzīvokli var pirms vēl ir saņemts apstiprinājums par uzņemšanu no augstskolas. Jo ātrāk Tu piesakies rindā, jo ātrāk Tu saņem dzīvokļu piedāvājumus un plašākās iespējas atrast sev piemērotāko dzīvokli.

Pieteikšanās rindā uz dzīvokļiem notiek internetā. Lielākā daļa šo portālu ir pieejami tikai dāņu valodā, tādēļ mēs saviem studentiem piedāvājam palīdzību un informāciju latviešu valodā kur un kā pieteikties studiju dzīvokļiem.
