Lillebaelt Academy was established in 2009. Though a new institution, its construction of four, formerly individual, higher education institutions of strong brands guarantees highly competent staff and quality educations.
We pride ourselves in our highly qualified lecturers and our interdisciplinary and dialogue-based professional training. The teaching is based on dialogue and the training of reflexive competences rather than monologue and learning by rote. Students work both individually in groups and with project-oriented work. We strive for at practice-oriented and engaged atmosphere in each class.
Our educations stand out in their business related character. We have close links to both the research and business world enabling us to keep up to date with the latest trends and market demands. We participate in research and business projects giving us an opportunity not only to respond reactively, but to act proactively in the development of our educational programmes
Intership
All our programmes have a mandatory internship incorporated ensuring our students an invaluable firsthand knowledge of the real world and providing them with the best possible basis for the transition to the labor market. Our large and close business network is the main supplier of internship positions. This network also provides variation and up to date input into the teaching by means of guest lecturers, case work and company visits. Studiju process
Akadēmija ir aprīkota ar modernām datortelpām, kas studentiem ir pieejamas no 6 rītā līdz 23 vakarā, tai skaitā arī brīvdienās. Studijas notiek starptautiskā vidē apvienojot projektu – grupās un individuāli – ar lekcijām un studiju ekskursijām. Trešajā semestrī studentiem ir iespēja doties studiju ekskursijā uz pašu studentu izvēlētu galamērķi, pēdējos gados tās ir bijušas – Lielbritānija, ASV, Itālija, Ķīna. Lai samazinātu ceļojuma izmaksas, augstskola piesaista sponsorus.
Akadēmijas sociālā dzīve
Katru piektdienu augstskolā notiek Piektdienas Bāra pasākumi, kur studentiem ir iespēja atpūsties kopā ar studiju biedriem un pasniedzējiem.
Studē kopā ar tautiešiem
Katru gadu Lillebaelt akadēmijā studijas uzsāk vairāk nekā 30 studenti no Latvijas.
Dzīvošana
Odensē tiek piedāvāti speciāli studentiem paredzēti dzīovokļi, kas parasti ir lētāki. To īres maksa mēnesī ir apm. 200 LVL (ieskaitot maksu par elektrību, siltumu, TV antenu un internetu). Dzīvokļi atrodas dažādos pilsētas rajonos, laicīgi piesakoties var izvēlēties kurā rajonā Tu vēlies dzīvot, lai aiztaupītu papildus izdevumus par sabiedrisko transportu. Pieteikties rindā uz dzīvokli var vēl pirms ir saņemts apstiprinājums par uzņemšanu no augstskolas. Studiju dzīvokļus piedāvā 5 firmas.
