Developing ideas is, in short, what a mechanical engineer does. The mechanical engineer creates ideas, develops and designs new products. This process is a result of a combination between creative skills and engineering skills. As a mechanical engineer you will not only get close to the technological development – you will get knowledge and tools that enable you to influence progress. Notions such as responsibility, professional competence and the ability to assess risks characterise the mechanical engineer. Specialising in “Innovation and Product Design” or “Intelligent Mechanics and Systems”  prepares you to engage in a constantly changing world.

Our bachelor programme in Mechanical Engineering is a three-and-a-half-year full-time programme taught in English.

Teaching style

We value variety in teaching and study methods. Therefore we aim to combine class tutorials, class discussions, group work, course work assignments, lab exercises, workshop practice and project based learning.

Internationalization

Internationalization is second nature to VIA University College – and to the Mechanical Engineer graduate. Each semester the college welcomes about 400 international students. As a Mechanical Engineer student you will meet many of them in courses and project work. Much project work will involve research of international markets.

Job opportunities

There is great demand for mechanical engineers all over the world. In Denmark, businesses predict a great shortage of people with these skills and competences in the foreseeable future. This means that, as a student, you will have great opportunity to find the perfect job for you.

As a mechanical engineer you have a wide range of career choices in companies all over the world, such as: Design Engineer, Development Engineer, Consultant in Energy, Project Manager, Product Manager, Sales Manager etc.

• Angļu valoda pieņemamā līmenī
• Matemātika pieņemamā līmenī
• Vidusskolas atestāts

Pieteikties uz studijām var arī pirms ir saņemts vidusskolas atestāts un centralizēto eksāmenu rezultāti. Vidusskolas atestāts ir jāiesniedz līdz 25. jūlijam.

Pieteikšanās

Pieteikšanās notiek līdz 15. martam, pēc tam līdz pat 1. jūlijam var pieteikties uz brīvajām studiju vietām!

Pieteikšanās notiek nosūtot sekojošus dokumentus:

1. pieteikuma anketu (lejupladēt anketu),
2. motivācijas vēstule angļu valodā (plašāk lasi šeit),
3. vidusskolas pēdējās liecības kopju vai sekmju izrakstu, ja tu šobrīd studē vai esi beidzis studijas augstskolā (plašāk lasi šeit),
4. dokuments par angļu valodas zināšanām (plašāk lasi šeit),
5. pases kopija.

Kur sūtīt pieteikumu?
