Computer Science

The Computer Science Programme is a full-time higher study programme taking two years and three months.

About Education

The Computer Science Programm is a combination of IT-disciplines and a number of commercial subjects, e.g. business organisation, economics, production management and environmental conditions in the industry.

Learning style

The programme is theory-based, but theory is constantly targeted towards practical application in business. The first four semesters are subject oriented and in the fifth semester the main thesis is elaborated in close co-operation with a company in Denmark or abroad.

Job opportunities

Job functions will typically be within the areas of planning, designing and programming computer systems. Your future tasks may range from technical problem solutions to the management of projects. Other possible functions are multimedia-designer, user-supporter, IT-adviser, IT co-ordinator (responsible for purchase and application of IT-equipment), system-administrator, computer-base administrator, web-master – and new job functions keep emerging within the IT-area.

Further education

The Computer Science programme opens the way for exiting job perspectives, and at the same time the programme can be used as a springboard to further education and training.

A completed programme gives access and credits to computer studies at university level in Denmark, the UK, the USA and in Australia.

Pieteikšanās

Uzņemšana notiek līdz 1. jūlijam! Vai kamēr visas studiju vietas ir aizņemtas.

Pieteikšanās notiek nosūtot sekojošus dokumentus:

1. pieteikuma anketu (lejupladēt anketu),
2. motivācijas vēstule angļu valodā (plašāk lasi šeit),
3. vidusskolas pēdējās liecības kopju vai sekmju izrakstu, ja tu šobrīd studē vai esi beidzis studijas augstskolā (plašāk lasi šeit),
4. dokuments par angļu valodas zināšanām (plašāk lasi šeit),
5. pases kopija.
